Notes
It was wet in the morning so we packed up in the rain and got away by ten o'clock. I got straight onto the River Main cycle path along a wide, flat valley just a few meters from the road all the way to Lohr. We had lunch at Markt-Heidenfeld in a curious restaurant/bric-a-brac shop overlooking the river. The camp site was on the bank of the Main with huge river barges sailing in both directions. We stayed for two nights, resting and enjoying pleasant weather for a change.
