Home Loop 28m

This is the loop I most often use from home to keep fit between cycling club rides. It is deliberately hilly to give some hill climbing experience. On the way out it’s fairly fast to Alvechurch but then there is a steady climb up Cobley Hill. A quick descent of Aqueduct Lane and loop between the Bittell Reservoirs is followed by a cautious crossing of the A441, Birmingham-Redditch Road, and then a pull up Forehill with its nasty top kick. The return to the built-up area is achieved by riding through Druids Heath and Brandwood End.
