I have lost my note book! That is a disaster! I have photographs of the day but no recollection of what the cycling was like. It must have been warm though, and the cycling fairly easy, down from the source of the Seine to Dijon and then into the Saône valley eventually joining the river at Chalon; through iconic wine regions of Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune where my photographs say it all.
