Rome to Como
Distances and Campsites
This is the plan from Rome to Como. I had planned campsites all the way but missed three. The first because I passed a bed & breakfast place and just gave up for the day although in hindsight I could have got to the intended campsite if I’d tried; the second because it took ages to find my way off a dual-carriage-way intersection that eventually led my into the centre of Pesciera del Garda where I fell into a transport hotel (a campsite was just up the coast of Lake Garda if I’d persevered; the third because of continuous rain.
