The day was sunny and warm and I set off in much better spirits after a good breakfast, in search of a plug adapter. I tried one or two supermarkets before coming across a hypermarket that sold just about anything you could think of. I went to the information desk and showed them the English plug on my charger and asked if they had an adapter. They knew exactly what I needed and pointed me to a specific location, and there it was, a brick designed in Switzerland and costing an arm and a leg. It is capable of connecting anything to anything with various sets of pins sliding in and out like a Chinese puzzle. The day could only get better.

I came to Parco di Montevecchia and skirted round the southern end of the park and found an excellent small restaurant near Lomaniga where I had excellent fish fillets and green vegetables. The camp site was at the end of rough track that I may not have found without the satnav, having switched it on just to find it. It was another chalet site with mostly Italian families, no doubt from Milan that is quite close to the south. I had pebbly site with a tiny patch of grass that I occupied, it was in sunshine so I was able to hang my washing out with the reasonable hope that it would dry. The tent had been packed up at Iseo in rain and was sopping wet. In the sun it was like a sauna when I put it up so I left it open to breathe while went for a shower and to wash my kit. When I came back it was bone dry. Tomorrow I would be in Switzerland.
