Day 4 – Wednesday 25 July

Monmouth to Shrewsbury

A slightly shorter day at 73 miles. We were late setting out and eventually met up with Liz for lunch in Leominster. We had a look round the priory and then continued on busy main roads to Shrewsbury. We had planned to cycle in blocks of four days with a rest day in between each block. The following day, Thursday, was to be a rest day that we were both looking forward to.
