Golden Wedding Celebration

On Saturday 22 July 2023 we held a garden party (in the rain) celebrating 50 years of married life.

The guests at our anniversary party were intended to enjoy a sunny afternoon and a buffet lunch in the garden. We‘d brushed, pruned, polished and mowed the garden to within an inch of its life in addition to putting up four gazeboes and borrowing a number of additional chairs, but the weather had other ideas and everyone squeezed into the house.

It rained on our wedding day too, so there were no traditional photographs outside the church after the wedding ceremony.
