Wortwell to Thurston

Another day without photographs; another day with very limited memory. We left Sustrans Route 30 and joined Route 13, I think getting quite tired by this time, not having had a day off. My ideal touring plan is to cycle for three days and then have a day off on each succeeding fourth day. I recall Mike being able to push ahead while I had to pause for 15 minutes every hour or so. Consequently I would catch him up whereupon he would ask where I’d got to.

Anyway, eventually we got to Thurston, a few miles short of Bury St Edmunds, and pitched up at another deserted camp site. After using the usual facilities we walked into Beyton and found The White Horse where we had a really good meal.
